1-Methylhydantoin-2-imide (Tego Cosmo)

- Blocks the enzyme that produces melanin to reduce discoloration. Skin-Conditioning Agent. As a genuine amino acid derivative occurring naturally in the body, 1-methylhydantoin-2-imide (Tego Cosmo) has skin brightening properties and acts as a skin conditioner with pH-regulating properties. 1-methylhydantoin-2-imide helps the minimization of tyrosinase activity in melanocytes. It can be used in applications such as skin brightening products, age-spot fade products and skin conditioning products to boost the clarity and eveness of skin tone.

30% Protease Acid

- Includes a 30% Protease Acid which mimics the Cathepsin-D enzyme found naturally in our skin and is therefore readily recognized. This enzyme is responsible for the orderly and specific manner of shedding and digestion of cells after cellular death and under certain abnormal conditions which provides for a healthy epidermis at a rate that is balanced by the mitoic development of NEW cells in the basal layer.

8% DHA (8% Sunless Tanner Dihydroxyacetone)

- (Dihydroxyacetone) Known as the most effective ingredient used in self-tanners. DHA is a colorless sugar that interacts with the corneocytes in the stratum corneum. The color change occurs as the sugar interacts with these cells.
