Sothys Noctuelle Renovative Night Cream - 1.69 oz

May daughter loves this product. It’s a Christmas gift!

I've used Sothy's Noctuelle every night for 25 years. The last 2 times I purchased it, I haven't liked the fragrance or texture. FRAGRANCE: used to be a light fresh smell with undertones of orange. Now, there is a strong fragrance (black currant?) -- smells like the "cold cream" my grandmother used to put on her face when I was a child! My husband even noticed the difference, he liked the previous formula. TEXTURE: used to feel luxurious, and absorb right into my skin. Now it seems gummy and leaves my skin sort of "sticky". I still like Sothy's other products, but I don't know how much longer I will be using this Noctuelle.

I have been using this product for a while now, even before the re-formulation and packaging. This works for me. I have sensitive, combination skin. This keeps my skin soft and smooth, especially when I first started using it, I could really feel and see the difference. So I try to alternate this night cream with another one, so that I do not lose the effects. A litle goes a long way!

This is a great product! I highly recommend if you need a heavy moisturizer. I use products for acne that dry my skin a ton so this moisturizer helps beyond anything I've used before. Also does not burn my skin with the extra chemical additives alot if it's moisturizers seem to have.

As a loyal user of Sothys products for more than 25 years, I expected Noctuelle would be an excellent product. I was very disappointed. The cream is both oily and clumping. It loses its cohesive structure and instead clumps and flakes on the skin. I had purchased 2 containers and both performed the same way--so not just a "bad batch." Would not recommend this product.
