No. Although the origin of ingredients are mostly from plants, they do include beeswax, propolis wax, honey, milk sugar, silk powder, lanolin, and carmine which are sourced from animals.

No. They conduct third party dermatological tests on volunteers before launching any new skin care products.

Their products have gone to extension testing to ensure safety to skin. They are generally safe during pregnancy and nursing provided there are no allergies to any of the ingredients. Consult a physician if there are any concerns with use of their products.
What is the shelf life of Dr. Hauschka’s skincare products?
The expiration date on the bottom of the box is about 1.5 to 2 years and it is recommended to use the product within 3 to 6 months after opening.
